The Mountain Lots
I shall assume, if you’re reading this, you have been looking around Central America and/or, at least, Panama for something in which to invest or to consider for retirement. Well, since 2005 the Panama real estate market experienced their “boom”.
However, if you are interested in small; undeveloped and private residence LOT ownership in a great retirement location – I encourage you to read on.
Interestingly, everyone comes to Panama and wants to be – first; meeting the local farmer or lawyer (since few real estate brokers existed in 2005 and 2006) and wants to “make a deal”. Well, by 2008-9 this was becoming more and more difficult to do. However, being 2nd still isn’t so bad, as here is an opportunity to be -“first” -almost.
LAS ESTABLAS was formed locally. A farmer in the area was hard-pressed to sell his entire farm and retire his past due mortgage. Instead of selling his entire farm, our company encouraged him to take only the best view portions of his property, near the paved road, electricity and water running nearby, and sell these lots for retirement home construction.
He listened carefully and then hired our firm, based upon performance, to handle the entire concept. Our philosophy is to keep it simple (KISS). The Peck Bros’s
surveyed all the lots, arranged so no lots or construction can ever block any of the fantastic long-range lot views. The lot settings are in 10 to 15 degrees cooler weather and tranquil. and we have a variety of birds, monkeys, deer and other animals, all of which abound in the immediate area. Yet only 25 minutes form down town Las Tablas on a newly paved scenic highway. Las Tablas offers University, Hospital, clinics, doctors/lawyers and super markets. Probably most famous for their Carnival Celebrations in February every year.
In doing so the farmer sold off all the 1/3 acre lots in sums sufficient to retire his entire mortgage; the result was 29 awesome view lots of the Pacific Ocean, and hills and pastures and woods all around. Of these available lots, 15 are sold to “end-users” in the past two years for home building and the remaining 14 lots are currently “For Sale” by our company, beginning at $25,000 to $35,000.
